This year is almost over.
What kind of year was this year for you?
This year was a big year for the MMA ITO DOJO, Submission Arts Wrestling, and for me personally in many ways.
At the beginning of this year, I became the “Daihyō Shihan” the Grand Master of Submission Arts Wrestling and stood at the top of the mountain, and I was thinking about doing many things from now on, but then I was seriously ill with leukaemia and was in the hospital, hanging on to life and death.
I feel like I fell off the top of the mountain and was clinging to the cliff with just one arm.
I still have a lot of painful treatment to do, so now I feel like I’m trying my best to climb the cliff to reach the top of the mountain again.
I think that when I reach the top of this mountain, I will be even stronger.
It is so gratifying and inspiring for me to see my students (both in the dojo and online) continue to work hard and improve despite these circumstances.
Well done everyone for your effort this year!!
Let’s continue to try to make SAW and ITO DOJO big, and grow together.
I look forward to seeing everyone’s improvement next year!!
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and have a great new year!!
