I want to talk about a diet a little bit today.
Diet is very important for fighters and martial artists.
As everyone knows, if you don’t have good diet, you will be unhealthy and have less energy.
You need to be very healthy and have unlimited energy to train hard and improve everyday.
Diet makes your immune system stronger, and also affects your mental state as well.
If you get sick all the time, and feel tired everyday, you can’t keep training to get better. And if you can’t control your emotions, you can’t train hard, and you give up very easily.
Also, martial arts is not just for when we are young. We should keep improving our whole lives.
To be able to do that, we must always have a good diet everyday.
Now, what is a good diet?
I think a good diet means having a very good balance of nutrient food in the right amount and having it at a good time.
Balance is very important for everything.
Exactly the same as fighting.
If you don’t have good balance, you will fall down.
For diet, you don’t fall down straight away.
You don’t get sick because you had a bad diet on one occasion.
That’s why sometimes you don’t realise how bad your diet is, but if you are repeating it everyday for a long time, that will build up inside you, and all of a sudden, you will fall down.
Even though you are not falling down straight away, your body and brain performance will be definitely inefficient the next day.
